We have a family friendly golf course that has 9 holes and you can play twice to make your round of 18 holes. All standards of players will enjoy playing at Tickenham.
The course is challenging and designed to a high standard with properly constructed full size USGA specification greens. The par 3s are different lengths up to 225yds and the longest hole is the 4th at 383yds. The greens and surrounds are contoured to fairly test the short game. Beginners and short hitters gain confidence on the large fairway landing areas between 100 and 150 yards. Golfers enjoy the south facing views from the side of Cadbury Camp, an ancient hill fort protected by the National Trust.
Dress Code & Etiquette for the Golf Course - The is no dress code but you must however wear sensible shoes, either trainers or golf shoes as the course can be slippery in wet conditions. Shirts must be worn at all times.
We ask that each player must have a separate bag of clubs and clubs are available for hire.
The Golf Course is affiliated with the Somerset Golf Union and as such is able to host competitions and our members have national handicaps on the World Handicap System. This system enables golfers handicaps to fluctuate depending on the difficulty of the course they are playing.
